Seems like those kids learned more in two hours than I did in 9 months with a 1.5 hour weekly class. Our teacher is an amazing person and fantastic mime, but we didn't delve very deeply into it only rather were put through motions. Sadly...

      Thanks.

I have had the good fortune of also having a very good teacher which means I was able to learn a great deal in just a few years, and Decroux' technical vocabulary affords one a great ability to translate even the subtlest movements into words-- which also helps one figure out the most efficient way of teaching a concept. My teacher told me once of a mime who was a brilliant mover who taught workshops but that she didn't have the vocabulary to explain to her students what she was doing.

Still... there's so much still to learn (painfully obvious to me now that I am reading Thomas Leabhart's book on Decroux.)
